About Us –

Sierra Leone Economic Diversification Project

The Sierra Leone Economic Diversification Project (SLEDP) is a 5 years Project implemented by the Government of Sierra Leone with a USD$ 40 million grant support from the World Bank. The Project is implemented under the Ministry of Finance provides and the key beneficiaries are the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs and the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

What we do

The Sierra Leone Economic Diversification Project (SLEDP) is designed to support the growth of SMEs and Entrepreneurs in Sierra Leone with the aim of enhancing domestic and international investment and increased revenue from non-mining sectors.

Component 1

The objective of this component is to support policy, administrative and regulatory reforms that will facilitate business entry and operation in Sierra Leone.

Component 2

The objective of this component is to undertake public goods investment to attract private participation in the Tourism sector and support SME growth and
