“Creative Thinking and Innovation are Key to Unlocking Entrepreneurial Potential” SLEDP Coordinator
Coordinator of the Sierra Leone Economic Diversification Project (SLEDP), Mary Jalloh emphasized the critical importance of creative thinking and innovation in driving entrepreneurial success.
She made this statement during her address to entrepreneurs and key stakeholders at the Pitch/Demo Competition and Seminar/Networking event hosted by the Africa Institute for Development & Equity (AIDE-SL) on the 24th and 25th September, 2024.

Madam Jalloh encouraged entrepreneurs to leverage technical assistance in order to effectively structure their businesses and enhance profitability. “When entrepreneurs are equipped with the right tools and support, they are better positioned to drive economic growth,” she stated.
Under the theme “Investing in Sierra Leone through Diversified Investment,” the event brought together entrepreneurs, financial institutions, and stakeholders to discuss the importance of access to finance for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and created the platform for young entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas and showcase innovative products.
